I am Madhuri Barge. I am a research scientist (Molecular Microbiologist) by profession. I have been living in the UK since 2009 and resident of Edinburgh for the last 6 years. 

I am proudly associated with SAMRAT (formerly known as MMM-E) since its inception in 2016. I actively participated in SGF 2016 and 2017. I was involved in organising cultural activities, movies and muscial show.

Currently I am a member of the Board of advisors of SAMRAT. I am enthusiastic about various cultures around me and take great interest in finding ways to keep connected with Marathi and Indian culture here in Scotland.

Jitendra Patil

Jitendra Patil moved to Edinburgh for good in Autumn 2014, after being London for 10 years.

Jitendra is one of the founder member of Marthi Mitra Mandal, started in 2016, a community organisation, with an intent to bring together the Marathi Community and celebrate Marathi festivals and introducing the arts from Maharashtra in the world's well-known festive city. Jitendra worked as a treasurer for 3 years, with few enthusiastic individuals, to lay a robust foundation for Marthi Mitra Mandal - Edinburgh. Always ready to contribute towards the growth of Marathi Culture and art It's immense pleasure to see this community organization growing and having registered as a Charity organisation "SAMRAT".

Currently, Jitendra serves as a Board of Advisory for SAMRAT.

Vikram Rotkar (2019)

Anand Bodas, came to the UK from Mumbi as an IT professional. Lived in London for couple of years and now enjoying living in Edinburgh for more than 20 years.

Anand is also a founding member of the MMM-E.
